I have this error while trying to use the command, right after installing the SDK.

C: \ Users \ Helder> winappdeploycmd -v
'Winappdeploycmd' is not recognized as an internal command
Or external, an operable program or a batch file.
Hi, you should firstly put the directory where winappdeploycmd exists into the Path system environment variable before try to type the command under any directory; or you should directly cd to the winappdeploycmd's parent directory to type the command.
I am getting the same error message.... sorry I am new to all this so how exactly do I do everything you've just stated?
Hi, firstly you have to install the sdk as per the tutorial. After you installed the SDK, check if WinAppDeployCmd.exe is located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Kits\10\bin\x86\ or C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Kits\10\bin\10.0.15063.0\x86. If it does, start a cmd and type&run WinAppDeployCmd. If it works, you are done. Otherwise, add its directory in Path.

Here you could find how to set/change the Path. https://www.java.com/en/download/help/path.xml

Switch xbox to dev mode, will reset all data and uninstall all games?
Switch from normal to dev mode will not erase anything.

In the opposite way, if you leave dev mode to return to normal mode, you might select keeping your installed emulators on the dev mode.
OK! thanks dude :)
Can you use the installed emulator in normal mode, or just in dev mode?

Only dev mode.
